Dreams and hopes is dedicated to creating specific programs to improve lives in Mayan communities in the region of San Juan La Laguna, Guatemala.

Our Programs

Education can help young people gain the courage and opportunity to add their voices, their stories, and their wisdom to help keep the Mayan culture and traditions alive.

Scholarship Program

The Scholarship Program provides students with a full year’s tuition to ensure their continued participation in school.

We-Connect: Computer Lab Program

The Computer Lab Program grants students access to technology classes and computer usage.

Abejitas (Little Bees) Program

The Abejitas Program offers a safe learning environment in an after-school program designed for students aged 6-12.

Parent Counseling Program

The Parenting Counseling Program trains and counsels to parents on the best ways to support their child’s education.

Healthy Living Program

The Healthy Living Program teaches students and parents about topics such as physical fitness and nutrition.

Community Assistance Program

The Community Assistance Program fosters partnerships with the community to provide essential support to families living in extreme poverty.
